OptiX OSN 8800---Version upgrade

Hi there！

The SCC board is reset during an upgrade. Communication between the U2000 and NE is interrupted for no more than 1 minute if the NE is equipped with two SCC boards and for no more than 10 minutes if the NE is equipped with only one SCC board.

During the upgrade of service boards, DCN communication may be interrupted in the following situations:

1. If the NE uses an electrical supervisory channel (ESC) as its management channel, communication between the NE and U2000 is interrupted for no more than 3 minutes when the service boards on the NE are upgraded.

2. If the NE uses an ESC as its management channel when the FPGA of a service board on the NE is upgraded, communication between subtending NEs that achieve communication through this service board and the U2000 is interrupted for less than 5 minutes.

3. If the CPLD of the AUX board on the NE is upgraded, communication between the NE and U2000 is interrupted when the AUX board software is being activated.
