Hi guys,
I share my last issue with OptiX OSN 500 (V100R002C01):
We found the solution of the issue. Actually it’s a known issue, and was solved on patch R16C60SCP203.
Description
Condition:
A user adds a SL1D board to the OSN500 and queries the optical power of the board.
Symptom:
The upper and lower thresholds of the output optical power are not supported.
> from NMS

> from NE

Impact:
When a user queries the optical power of a port on the OSN500, an error message is displayed indicating that the function is not supported. As a result, the upper and lower thresholds fail to be queried, but the optical power value can be displayed normally. However, the SL1D board of the OSN500 does not support the setting of the upper and lower thresholds of the output power, the display and function do not match, which misleads customers.
Severity
Minor
Root Cause
1. In earlier versions, only the OSN500 supports the SL1D board. Therefore, the upper and lower thresholds of the output power are not set for the entire board.
2. The SL1D board supports the upper and lower thresholds for the output power when the RTN900 R18C10 board of the U2000 R15C60 version supports the upper and lower thresholds of the output power of the SL1D board.
3. Therefore, the OSN500 is affected.
Solution
By default, the upper and lower thresholds of the output optical power of the SL1D board are not supported.
So in conclusion, please install the patch or later version (V200R018C60) to solve it. You can upgrade iManager U2000 V200R016C60SPC203 directly from your current version (V200R016C60SPC202).
