Hello, everyone!
This post will tell you one issue for OptiX OSN 3500 with the SWDL_PKG_NOBDSOFT alarm
Problem description
The problem is found after the software upgrade done by simulation package from V200R011C00SPC300 to V200R011C03SPC100.
Nine Optix 1500 and four Optix 3500 have been upgraded.
after the upgrade to the target release, only the OSN 3500 equipment show the SWDL_PKG_NOBDSOFT alarm on standby GSCC
Handling procedure
The software download has been repeated. However, the wizard did not find any board with software mismatch and this operation did not resolve the problem.
After performing a GSCC switching between working and backup, the alarm disappeared for 30 minutes but after this time it appeared.
Collecting the data from ne, we checked the presence of file ne.pkg with this command:
:sftm-show-dir:17,"ofs1/pkg"
:sftm-show-dir:18,"ofs1/pkg"
The presence of this file " ne.pkg" generate the SWDL_PKG_NOBDSOFT alarm.
Root cause
NA
Solution
Because the NE upgrade was done by "simulate package loading" and not "package loading", there is no need to maintain the ne.pkg file. Clean this alarm ereasing the package files in the GSCC board.
Please, use the below command by the Navigator to clear the package from GSCC board.
Be sure to first clear the master GSCC board then slave GSCC board.
:swdl-clr-pkg:bid; //change the bid to master GSCC board ID, then the slave board ID.
EXAMPLE: active GSCC in slot 17, standby GSCC in slot 18, then:
:swdl-clr-pkg:17
:swdl-clr-pkg:18
After the package is cleared, please warm reset the GSCC board to clear definitively the alarm.
This operation does not cause loss of traffic.
That's all, I welcome everyone to leave a message and exchange in the comment area!
Thank you!
