OptiX OSN 3500 slot bent pins

Hello, everyone!

We have an OptiX OSN 3500. The EFS0 boards in slots 15 and 16 are configured with TPS protection.

During one operation and maintenance, TPS protection switching fails. Later, it was found that the pin in slot 16 was bent. 

How do I deal with this kind of failure?

Dear friend!

You can refer to the following suggestions:

1. Do not use the faulty slot when the  slot resources are sufficient.

2. If you need to use this slot, use tweezers to correct the bent pins.

3. The best solution to this problem is to replace the subrack of the device. Apply for an operation window to replace the subrack when the time is sufficient.
