Dear friend!

In Malik 3000's response, I would like to add the following information:

If the Metro 1000 is displayed on the ECC link of the GNE

1. The user name and password used for adding an NE may be incorrect. Click here to query the default user name and password.

2. The NE ID conflicts with the existing NE ID. You need to change the ID of one NE temporarily to ensure that the ID is unique.

3. Check the receive optical power of the optical interfaces on the OptiX OSN equipment and the OptiX Metro 1000 V2 equipment. If the receive optical power is too high, add an optical attenuator. If the value is too low, rectify the fault on the line.

If the Metro 1000 is not displayed on the ECC link of the GNE

1. The DCC function may be enabled at the peer end. Contact technical support engineers to check the DCC function on the Metro 1000.

2. If the line is faulty, check whether the fiber connection is correct and whether the line is damaged or disconnected.

3. May be the SCC board of the OptiX Metro 1000 is faulty, you need to replace it.

Thank you!

Yes. If an NE ID is duplicate, you only need to change the ID of the NE that can be managed. After the modification, the new NE can be created.

hi
1- if you mean that you cant see the Metro1000 in the OSN -NE ECC Link Management , that could be because ,the DCC in that port connected to the Metro is disabled .
go to NE Explorer > communication > DCC Management then open the port toward the Metro1000.

2- if you mean that you canyt creat the Metro 1000 , that could be because you dont have license in your Management for METRO1000 .

Dear user,

Initially at SL4 card at Bhagalpur site ,which is connected with OI4D card of Metro 1000, Power was high. So I thought due to this Metro 1000 was not pinging.
Suggestions:
At the time of commissioning, NE-ID should be provided with special care so that it can not conflict with other NE-ID of network.

Thanks!
