Hi BAZ,
Common optimization operations are as follows:
1. Check the version and upgrade it to the latest version.
2. Check channel planning and optimization. (Usually, the maximum power and channel calibration mode can be used.)
(1) In the radio profile, set the power mode to fixed and the AP radio power is the maximum.
(2) Adjust the channel set.
Adjust the 2.4 GHz channel set to 1, 5, 9, and 13.
(3) Enable automatic optimization and set the optimization time to 1:00 a.m. every day.
3. Configure user isolation and switch port isolation.
If there are too many users in the same VLAN, too many broadcast packets will be sent, affecting network performance. User isolation and switch port isolation (in direct forwarding mode) can be enabled.
4. Enable RTS/CTS to reduce interference.
When the air interface environment is harsh, enabling RTS/CTS reduces interference and avoids hidden terminal problems.
5. Configure user rate limit.
If rate limiting is not configured, some users may occupy too much bandwidth, affecting other users' requirements.
6. Restrict weak-signal access
