Operating System Installation Is Suspended Due to Data Disk Damage

Hi team, here's a new case.

Problem Symptom

If a data disk is damaged when you install the EulerOS image in ISO mode, the EulerOS installation may be suspended.

Problem Diagnosis

1. During the installation and deployment, EulerOS installation using an ISO file is suspended.

2. Check the error information. Check whether the following information is displayed, and the installation process is suspended for a long time.

   

   If yes, this is the cause of the problem.

Solution

1. Restart the server and retry the installation.

   When the following information is displayed, press E to enter the editing mode:

   

2. Add the following statement to the end of the line starting with linux:

   module_blacklist=hisi_sas_main,hisi_sas_v3_hw

   

3. Press Ctrl+X to continue the OS installation.
