Hello everyone,
I've bought a Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 modem for our company. I connected all the devices to the modem. The dealer of washing machines installed a getway and requested acces to the modem. In order to connect the devices I have to do the following:
The gateway is offline. The machines are not online, as the gateway is not currently connected to the internet. There are no settings on the gateway that would cause it to not connect.
Once the gateway’s connection has been restored, if WiFi interference is a concern, I can adjust the channel that the gateway and machines communicate on.
For our devices to be able to communicate, we make use of the following ports:
443 TCP - This is the most fundamental requirement - it is used to connect to the VPN and the web terminal, and many web endpoints using TLS (https://.)
123 UDP - For NTP time synchronization.
53 UDP - For DNS name resolution.
Each of these should work with outward only (and inward once outward connection established) firewall settings. Additionally, the NTP (123) and DNS (53) ports may be blocked if a local NTP and DNS server are provided.
How and where can I do this?
