We're using to following template to configure pppoe wan service and voip service.

Whats happens , is that after activating the voip service, the pppoe wan service mac changes. Is that a normal behavior or is there a way to fix wan services mac addresses.

Dear AGregory！

The MAC address is a representation of a physical device. If the physical device is useless, the MAC will not change.


We found that the DHCP service started during your configuration process, so the IP address of the device will change every time you go online,


So what you see is that the correspondence between the IP address and the MAC address has changed.

pppoe wan is added first, and voip generally 1,2 days after. Looks like dhcp wan service is taking index 1 from pppoe wan.
