ONU OFFLINE

Hello Dear,

If the ONU fails to go online, you can check the following points:



1. The ONU hardware is faulty or replaced.



2. The OLT board is faulty or the hardware is replaced.



3. The ONU-side receive optical power is too low, the processing optical path, and the optical splitter.



4. The received optical power on the OLT side is too low, and the optical path and optical splitter are processed.



5. The optical module of the PON port on the OLT is faulty. Replace the optical module.



6. If the data on the OLT is incorrect, check the OLT configuration.



7. The receive optical difference of the ONU connected to the PON port exceeds 15 dB. Check whether the optical path is faulty or whether the ONU is connected to the optical splitter of different levels.



8. If the actual PON distance between the ONU and the OLT exceeds 20 km, adjust the transmission distance of the PON port.



9. Deactivate the ONU on the OLT. Reactivate the ONU on the OLT to make it go online.



10. A rogue ONU is connected to a PON port. You can check the alarms of the rogue ONU to eliminate the rogue ONU.
