ONT Upload Speed (Bandwidth)

Hi, there.


if 30 ont are connected to the same splitter, every ONT the upload speed (bandwidth) will be 1.25Gbps/30 = 41.6mbps? Is it correct?

Hi,
The bandwidth obtained by users needs to be configured. If not configured, the default bandwidth template is used. The bandwidth of the ONT that accesses the OLT first is high, and the bandwidth of the ONU that accesses the OLT later is low.

Thanks for your reply. But based on the GPON doc, all the ONT connected to the same splitter, the upload is using TDM method, every ONT got its own time slot to send the traffic (upload). So if there are 30 ONT, then every ONT, got the time slot is 1/30, is it correct?
