ont-load configuration fail.

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to upload config file to ont from olt. It's does not work 

But when I upload firmware to OLT it's work. Use the same ftp server 

The result when I try to upload config file.

Hello, friend!


You can run the ont home-gateway-profile add command to create an ONT home gateway profile and bind the ONT gateway profile to the profile. After creating a home gateway profile, run the ont home-gateway-config command to bind the ONT home gateway profile to the ONT so that the files in the profile take effect on the ONT.


For Example


To create home gateway profile 10 and bind the ONT home gateway configuration file homegateway.xml, do as follows:


huawei(config)#ont home-gateway-profile add 

{ filename<K>|profile-id<K>|profile-name<K> }:profile-id 

{ profile-id<U><1,32> }:10

{ filename<K>|profile-name<K> }:filename

{ filename<S><Length 1-64> }:homegateway.xml

   Command:

         ont home-gateway-profile add profile-id 10 filename homegateway.xml

   Adding an ont home gateway profile succeeded

   Profile ID  : 10

   Profile name: home-gateway-profile_10

You are advised to issue the XML file to the ONT through the U2000.

Do you mean that when the U2000 delivers an XML file, the U2000 reports an error and does not support the terminal type?

I just confirmed the information I got:
Huawei HS series ONTs support XML file delivery through the U2000. If the U2000 displays a message indicating that the ONT does not support the terminal type, the ONT may be pirated.
HS series devices are customized by Chinese carriers and are rarely used outside China. Generally, HS series devices of customized versions are applicable only to regions where the customization is performed.

Dear Friend you can try this:
ont-load command is mainly used for commissioning.

By analyzing your configuration process in a preliminary manner.

Limited to the information you provide, I can probably only speculate on the reasons for the configuration failure from the following three aspects:

1. The XML file may be faulty.

2. The FTP server may be faulty.

3. The node selected by the OLT and the node selected by the ONT must support each other.

You can check whether the preceding three aspects are normal or contact technical support engineers for remote handling.

Dear unicef.
Which versions should it work ?
1.XML can upload via ethernet port of ont and it's working well.
2.ftp server worked because I can upload olt firmware.

OLT model is MA5608T and version V800R018C10
ONT is HS8145V5 and version V5R019C00S050
I also tried HS8546V model and version V3R017C10S138 it did not work.
Yeah I want to sent XML from OLT .

You can use the U2000 to issue the XML file to the ONT.

On the Main Topology tab page, double-click the desired NE in the Physical Topology navigation tree, or right-click the desired NE and choose NE Explorer from the shortcut menu.
Choose GPON > GPON Management from the navigation tree.
On the GPON ONU tab page, enter the search criteria or click Query. The GPON ONU record is displayed.
Select a record, right-click, and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.
