Dear user, please refer to the following information:

1) The POWER indicator is on immediately after the device is powered on. Other indicators are on randomly in the first few seconds of the power-on. This is a normal phenomenon. The POWER indicator is green after the board is started.

1

2) Wait until the ONT is started. In normal cases, the LOS indicator blinks and the POWER indicator is steady on for ONTs that are not connected to optical fibers, network cables, or telephone lines.

2

3. The LOS indicator is off and the PON indicator starts to blink after the ONT is connected to the OLT. The PON indicator is steady on after the ONT registers with the OLT successfully.

3

That's all.

Hello,

Please find below the answer

The indicators of Huawei ONTs are on the front side of the device, as shown in the following figure.

Huawei ONTs have indicators for power supply, registration, optical signal, and gigabit (100M and LAN). ONTs with voice, USB, wireless, and CATV functions also have indicators for telephone (TEL), USB, wireless (WLAN), and CATV.

imgDownload?uuid=2f30d16d38094e7f96ade82 NOTE:

Some ONTs have a Light (Indicator) button on the side. This button is used to turn on or off the indicators (on by default). Ensure that the button is in the "on" position.

Normal Status of the Indicators

  • Power: steady green, indicating that the power supply is on.

  • Registration (PON): steady on; Optical signal (LOS): off, indicating that the ONT is connected to the upper-layer device.

  • Gigabit (100M and LAN): steady on or blinking, indicating that the Ethernet connection is normal.

  • Telephone (TEL): steady on or blinking quickly, indicating that the device is connected to the voice server.

  • USB: steady on or blinking, indicating that the USB connection is normal.

  • Wireless (WLAN): steady on or blinking, indicating that the wireless function is enabled.

  • CATV: steady on, indicating that the CATV function is enabled.

  • WPS: steady on or blinking, indicating that the WPS function is enabled.

Thanks
