ONT EchoLife HG8010H firmwares

Hello,

Recently, I acquired several EchoLife HG8010H to connect users to my GPON network, but due to a new EPON OLT that I`m installing, I need to use an EPON ONT.

I thought the EchoLife HG8010H ONT could work in both modes (EPON/GPON) using the proper firmware; that`s why I wanted to ask if there is a firmware that could change this ONT into an EPON one and where can I find it.

Hello, friend!


This problem has been confirmed before. Due to hardware limitations, Huawei ONTs cannot implement conversion between GPON and EPON by upgrading the firmware.


If an EPON ONT is required, you need to replace it with another model.

Hello,

Huawei ONT needs to be used with OLT and network management. The version must match the model. If the wrong version is used, ONT will not work.

Huawei ONT firmware involves information security and will not be released randomly.

If you need to download firmware/software, for your network security, please contact the operator or sales channel to obtain the correct ONT firmware/software
