hello everyone, i'm new here I need help. I use ONTs of the EG8120L models and I noticed that when I access it via the web interface and change some options, such as: default route, audio codecs, among others. when restarting ONT, the settings revert to default can anyone tell me what it can be? I use more than 300 ONTs and this happens in all thanks

1- Check if you save configuration, before the restart

Hello


2. These settings may not have been saved to ONT flash, because the setting will be deployed from OLT when ONT is online.


  • This problem can happen if the wan service is configured using the "ont ipconfig" command. If wan service is added over the OTNs web-interface , it doesn't happen.


3- It is more common to configure by NMS, such as Huawei U2000 or an ACS system (by TR069 protocol). Then the configuration can be sent by NMS after reboot from ONT.

sim, eu vou em salvar e mesmo assim ela não grava,

eu não tenho o U2000 e não consigo alguém pra me vender ele.

não entendi esse segundo passo, pode me explicar melhor?

Friend,

The settings that are made through CLI is sent by OLT to ONT through OMCI protocol. When ONT restarts, OLT sends the settings that were made via CLI to ONT.

For example,

If you configure VOICE services via CLI, and then change via WEB, when ONT restarts, OLT it will only send services configured via CLI and not configured via the web.


This behavior also happens with the Port Mapping settings that are made through the WEB interface.


I also recommend that you open a ticket with the TAC to analyze this behavior in more detail.

Diego Silva explained it very clearly.


It is not recommended to use multiple methods to manage the ONT. According to your problem description, the problem is caused by conflicting management modes of the ONT.
