Dear friend!

To configure an alarm profile for an optical module, run the following command:

optical-alarm-profile add

This command is used to add an optical alarm profile. In this profile, a series of alarm thresholds are specified, which are used for performance monitoring of the optical module. When the optical module parameter value crosses the threshold set in the profile, the system reports an alarm to the log host and the NMS.

In profile mode and GPON mode, to bind alarm profile 2 to ONT 0 on port 0/1/0 to monitor the performance of the activated ONT line, do as follows:

huawei(config-if-gpon-0/1)#ont alarm-profile                                    { portid<U><0,7> }:0                                                            { ontid<U><0,127> }:0                                                            { profile-id<K>|profile-name<K> }:profile-id                                    { profile-id<U><1,50> }:2

          ont alarm-profile 0 0 profile-id 2
