Today will share with you a case about OSN7500 backup failed.
Problem Description:
OSN 7500 having Back up issue.
Handling procedure:
Run below mentioned command and confirm the feedback
":hbu-get-backup-info"
If the output is “Backup-Info : 0x00000003” then it is OK and we can give warm reset to the active GSCC if there is no abnormal alarm on NE.
After giving warm reset try to take the manual backup of NE and if problem is not resolved then switch the GSCC card, run the command ":hbu-get-backup-info" output is “Backup-Info : 0x00000003” then try to take manual back up of NE again and feed back the result.
Root cause:
Backup not happening due to abnormal behaviour of SCC card
Solution:
Warm reset the SCC card after cehcking command output of :
:hbu-get-backup-info
Output result should be : “Backup-Info : 0x00000003”
Suggestion:
Whenever backup is not happening then try to run backup info command to check backup status
