Hello!

Possible cause

The PCIe interface module of the controller is damaged or removed.

Identification method

1. Log in to the storage array using the CLI. On the CLI, run the show alrm command to query alarm information. An alarm with the ID being 0xF00CF0014 is displayed, indicating that the controller corresponding to the PCIe card cannot be monitored.

2. Log in to the cluster host using the CLI. Go to the developer mode and then enter debug to change to the debug mode. Run the sys showtrace command to query system flows. Flows with ID being 10, 11 and 13 are found. The states of flows 10 and 13 are Success, while the state of flow 11 is Failure.

One Controller Is Powered Off-2926485-1

3. Run the sys showtrace 11 command to query flow 11. A message 'FAIL ACTION: SelfCheck: CheckPcieLinkByXnet' is displayed.

One Controller Is Powered Off-2926485-2

Solution

Manually replace the damaged PCIe card.

Check after recovery

The controller is powered on normally. Run the show controller general command on the CLI. Information about the controller can be found.
