Handling Process
1. Check the storage status using ISM, using the hot spare disk to reconstruction for the problem Volume Group members disk;
2. The new hot spare disk copyback finished, RAID group status back to normal, in addition to RAID group 9 offline;
3. For the Volume Group 9 after online operation, the Volume Group 9 in a degraded state;
4. Replace the disk failure for Volume Group 9 and use hot spare disk copyback, Volume Group 9 return to normal status.
5. To ensure that all disks properly, can be apply for to customer restart the array, the array self-test and you can found fault disk, replace the fault disk, Volume Group 9 back to normal status.
Root Cause
Disk failure caused some RAID group degradation, one RAID group abnormal offline.
