one-arm bfd session can not go up

I configured one-arm bfd according to manual, however BFD session is down:

bfd LINK1 bind peer-IP 10.0.0.2 interface Eth-Trunk12.1 one-arm-echo

discriminator local 521

min-echo-rx-interval 1000

I tried with “Source-IP” – same issue BFD one-arm doesn’t work:

bfd LINK1 bind peer-IP 10.0.0.2 interface Eth-Trunk12.1 source-IP 10.0.0.1 one-arm-echo

discriminator local 521

Good day?

I think your configuration should be alright. What's the peer device? Maybe the problem is on it.

In order to configure the one-arm-echo bfd between the Huawei router and the third-party device, the third-party device should be able to reply the bfd packets with the same source IP and destination IP which is generated by the Huawei router.

Some vendor's device does not respond to this type of packets. Therefore, check whether the peer supports the response.

Did you try another IP address of an Loopback interface, instead of the IP address of interface Eth-Trunk12.1?
