This post will tell you a case about one 52SCC report power_fail but not board faulty.
Issue description
52SCC report POWER_FAIL alarm and the alarm parameter is 0x99
Handling Process
1, the equipment is OSN9800UPS, the alarm parameter is 0x99, but there is no parameter mentioned in the product document, the SCC is 52SCC, same as used on OSN8800, OSN8800 product document mentioned the parameter indicate the configuration within 30minitus before power off lost;
2, soft reset the alarm SCC, but the alarm did not clear.
3, the main and slave SCC backup status is complete, switchover the SCC;
4, soft reset the other SCC which there is no power_fail alarm, alarm cleared.
Root Cause
The battery of SCC has problem and equipment powered off caused the configuration within 30 minutes before power off lost
Solution
1, soft reset the slave SCC;
2, switch over the main and slave SCC after the backup status is complete;
3, soft reset the original main SCC after the backup status is complete.
