I want to share an IPCC product knowledge: OMU host status is faulty during IPCC installation and deployment.
Background
Scenario 1: After the OMU is installed, the host status is displayed as faulty on the OMU web page.
Scenario 2: On the LMT, run DSP SERVER on ME 0 to check the status of the OMU host. The following information is as follows.
The operation result is as follows:

Host name = omu_server1
Availability state = Unknown
(Number of results = 1)
Method introduction & Solution
Possible Causes
The floating IP address of the OMU cannot communicate with the IP address of the management port on the server.
The server user name or password configured on the OMU does not match the actual user name or password configured on the server.
If the 2288H V5 server is used, the root user is not available by default.
Procedure
Check whether the IP address between the OMU and the server is reachable.
To view and change the floating IP address of the OMU, choose System Management > System Configuration > OMU Floating IP Configuration on the OMU web page.
To view and change the IP address of the server management port, choose Configuration > Network Management on the iBMC WebUI.
Check whether the server passwords match.
To view and change the user name and password of the OMU server, choose System Management > System Configuration > Interworking Configuration Between the OMU and Host on the OMU Web page.
To view and change the user name and password set on the iBMC WebUI, choose Configuration > Local User.
