First, the OLT configuration data of the third-party vendor cannot be migrated to the Huawei OLT. Services can only be manually configured on the OLT.

I have some troubles to add 3rd party ONTs (eg, FINISAR ONT) to MA5608T.

Using the commands “ont add “ or “ont confirm”, it didn’t go to online.



But, if the vendor id of the 3rd party ONT is modified with “HWTC”,

It goes to online with MA5608T.

Namely, I think that the MA5608T checks whether vendor id of ONTs is “HWTC” or not.

Please, tell me how to add 3 rd party ONTs (which its vendor id is not “HWTC) to the MA5608T.
