Hi there.

My OLT EA5801 time keeps on resetting after a power failure to 01-01-2000.

Does it not have any internal battery to keep time?

Thanks.

Hello, friend!

You can run the display power environment command to query the environment parameters of the power supply. When you need to query the ID, name, upper and lower alarm thresholds, and upper and lower measurement thresholds of the built-in analog parameter of the power supply, or query the information about the environmental parameters such as the ID, name, and valid level of the external extended digital parameter, run this command.

You can also run the display time command to view the current system time. Run the time command to change the system time.

Thanks!

Can it be that my internal battery is dead?

I'm so sorry, my friend!
Confirmed: The EA5801 does not have a built-in battery. It is powered by an external power supply and converted by the current module for running. When the network is recovered, the time is automatically synchronized.
