I believe they are shutting down due to temperature but if you can helo checking the health of the OLT chassis that would be great, e.g. fans are operating, temps and other monitoring probes look healthy.

This cause of last restart is the same for slots 2,3,4,5 but not 0 or 1, is there any reason why this might be happening?

Hello, friend!


If the board temperature is too high, check the following conditions:


1. Check whether the CPU usage of the board exceeds the CPU usage of the board.

2. Check whether there is much dust on the site.

3. Check whether the board is burnt due to high temperature.


If the CPU usage of the board is too high and the onsite environment and board hardware are normal, reduce the number of services to restore the board.

If a large amount of dust is accumulated on-site, you need to clear the dust.

If the board is burnt out due to high temperature, replace the board.
