Hello, everyone!
An MA5600T provides multiple commands for querying packet loss statistics. The commands used in xPON user fault location are the commands for querying packet loss statistics on an uplink port, an intra-board port, an inter-board port, a service port, and an xPON port. These commands are used to query packet loss statistics of different chips on different boards.
Query on an Uplink Port
display port statistics: queries the packet loss statistics on the chip of the board that houses an uplink port.
When the upstream board is a control board, the result is the packet loss statistics on the control board.
When the upstream board is a GIU board, the result is the packet loss statistics on the control board because the GIU board does not have a chip for forwarding packets.
When the upstream board is an ETHx or SPUA board, the result is the packet loss statistics on the upstream board.
Query on an Inter-Board Port
display port statistics: queries the packet loss statistics on a board that houses an inter-board port.
This command is added in MA5600 V800R013.
Query on an xPON Port
display statistics gmac and display statistics emac: query packet loss statistics on an xPON MAC chip, or on xPON board.
The command function is enhanced in MA5600 V800R013.
Query on an Intra-Board Port
display port statistics: queries the packet loss statistics on a board that houses an intra-board port.
As shown in the service forwarding architecture, an intra-board port is a port between the control board and uplink board or service board. Packet loss statistics on the port indicate the packet loss between the control board and uplink board or service board.
This command is added in MA5600 V800R013.
Query on a Service Port
display statistics service-port: queries the packet loss statistics on the board logic.
On a service port for a switch-oriented service, the result is the packet loss statistics on an xPON board.
On a service port for a connection-oriented service, the result is the packet loss statistics on an xPON board and upstream board logic.
The command function is enhanced in MA5600 V800R013.
Thanks.
