olt 5680/5683 cpe management

Hello,

 


I have two OLTs 5680t & 5683t, with respective firmware version MA5600V800R011C00 & MA5600V800R015C00.


I am asking if is any method to manage ONTs (which are few models HS8545M5, hg8546, hg8226 etc but all of them are huawei) from operator side without U2000, but with PC and OLT cli ?


From managing I need: creating a wan dhcp client in a certain vlan, and allowing http confg from wan side, both config that are done to ONT modem device.

Then I can connect via http to ONT

I read  much for this but not found  nothing concrete


From cli of OLT5683, I can access to ONU cli via diagnose -> telnet, but there I can't do much, I do NOT know how create new wan or gave http acces from wan side. Can anyone tell me how to do that from ONT cli ?


Worse is the situation from OLT 5680, it has not suitable diagnose -> telnet.


Can this be done via SMNP ?(I added ONTs as omci but I can change) . I have smnwalk in my managing net.

hi,

for ONT CLI interface , we do not recommended doing any configuration , the ONT CLI interface we using for the troubleshooting propose. you can thought the webpage doing the configure for ONT

for SNMP HUAWEI ONT only can support using the U2000, for third party tools the HUAWEI ONT support to using the TR-069 server to management , thank you

let's forget for a moment for the U2000.

Suppose a hypothetical situation, someone attach an factory configured ONT in my network, and I need to configure this ONT. I agree with webpage configuration, but before accessing it, some steps are required.
In this situations, I need ONLY:

1)creating and simple wan dhcp client on ONT
2)giving http access by wan on ONT
This is EXACTLY I am asking for help

We supposed ONTs without any configuration, tr069 needs some minimal config on ONTs, too.

I know about OLTs(not huawei) able to do it.

hi,

if the ONT making as factory default , you can login the webpage thought the backside default user name and password, after that you can configure it.

as I siad before , the ONT CLI not using for configuration , it is for troubleshooting propose, so please configure thought webpage, thank you

yes,

of course, we made the configurations from ont side or backside.

some ONTs are physically hardly reachable, and basic ONT config is required via OLT or SMNP or something else.

My asking for help is for remote ONT config, NOT for local ONT config
