Hello,

I have one of each olt 5680t/5683

I have 2 problems:

1. I need to use port of H801GICF (0/18/1), not as uplink for this olt(which is 0/17/1) , but as output for a the second olt, for multicast purpose.

I did:

port vlan xx 0/18/1

and it is attached to vlan, works as unicast, stb takes dhcp client ip, channel list is downloaded, but no streams.

I tried to add it to:

btv, and multicast-vlanxx without success with output: Failure: The board does not support BTV

Is this possible ? how ?

2. navigating through commands, I did:

btv

mulicast-vlanxx

igmp uplink-port 0/18/1

but, It seems unrreversible, I cannot undo it:

MA5680T(config)#btv

MA5680T(config-btv)#multicast-vlan xx

MA5680T(config-mvlanxx)#undo igmp uplink-port 0/18/1
Are you sure to delete the uplink port? (y/n)[n]:y
Failure: The program number bound to the uplink port is non-zero

I did listed all programs, but in the tables is no bound uplink port field, so I cannot determine the prgram in order to delete it

Can You tell me how to delete this unused uplink-port as above ?

the frimware version is: MA5600V800R011C00

thanks in advance

hi,you  can try this :

For example

huawei(config)#multicast-vlan 3611

huawei(config-mvlan3611)#igmp mode off

huawei(config-mvlan3611)#undo igmp uplink-port 0/19/0

1. have you configure the IGMP uplink port first ?

example:
huawei(config-mvlan1000)#igmp uplink-port 0/19/0
huawei(config-mvlan1000)#btv
huawei(config-btv)#igmp uplink-port-mode default

2. if you have the multicast program source using on it, it cannot deleted on that time. should be close the multicast program source then deleted

Thank You for the helping!

I wrote at my previous post that I just have one igmp uplink-uplink port 0/17/1, which is configured and working, not problems with that.

I, trying different configurations, made as igmp uplink-uplink, port 0/18/1 too, a role that I don't want for this port.
But I cannot undo this command as I described above(this is not connected and not used, but anyway may be bound to a program). The two problems I asked for the help above , in reverse order, are:

1. I need anyway to undo igmp uplink-port 0/18/1, possible without interruption of service. (it is not used as uplink, it is not connected)
2. I need using this port to the other olt I have, for passing multicast as I described above

please check whatever you have the program exist on the uplink port and try to delete first, then try to undo igmp uplink port 0/18/1

display igmp program
igmp program delete

I did no luck again!

"display igmp program all" works anywhere and lists all programs, although there is no a field that identify the uplink port. I have listed  ~35 programs here, supposing I need to delete all of them, in this case the service is interrupted isn't it ?
Unlike the command above, "igmp program delete" works inside "multicast-vlanxx"  section only, in my firmware:

MA5680T(config-btv)#multicast-vlan xx

MA5680T(config-mvlan_xx)#igmp program delete index 3973
Are you sure to delete the program? (y/n)[n]:y
Failure: Dynamic programs do not support the operation

As you can see, it can NOT delete  dynamically created programs, may be those created with "igmp program add" only.

also you can wait until there is no user watching for the program or there is no configure the prejoin of the program ,

then try to undo the uplink port

yes,

I utilized an occasional blackout in the area and detached port.
May be solutions of Krystal: "igmp mode off", I could not test, but I noted it.

Now, I have the other problem:

I need use this port as output for a second olt for multicast purpose.
Attaching to this vlan: "port vlan xx 0/18 1" is ok for unicast. I connected to this port a set=top=box, it can obtain the right ip, but no streams.
In anyway, I need to add this port to igmp user and igmp multicast member, like onu's, isn't it ?

Yes, you need to add the port when each user establishes multicast.

How to do that ?

Please consider that I have stb directly connected to port 0/18/1 and easily can try every configuration
