Hello, everyone!
This time, let me share the information about the ODF and DDF.
DDF: Digital Distribution Frame
A type of equipment used between the transmission equipment and the exchange with the transmission rate of 2 to 155 Mbit/s(The most common method is to connect the E1 signal cable) to provide functions such as cables connection, cable patching, and test of loops that transmit digital signals.

Common connectors are L9 ,BNC and CC4 connectors.

2. BNC connector

3. CC4 connector

ODF: Optical Distribution Frame
1) A-frame which is used to transfer and spool fibers.
2) The optical distribution frame (cabinet) connects, terminates, distributes, splits, and schedules optical cables in backbone networks, metropolitan area networks (MANs), and access optical cable networks.

Generally, the network serves the upper-layer network. It is a relay of the upper-layer network. In this case, it must be connected to the client-side. The DDF rack is set up to connect with the E1 signal on the client side. The E1 transceiver cable is also connected to the DDF shelf, and the E1 transceiver cable of the optical network is also connected to the DDF, and the docking is completed on the DDF shelf so that the client-side signal is connected to the device. The ODF shelf is where the pigtail and the optical cable are connected. After the ODF is put on the ODF, it is transmitted to the remote site through the optical cable. Then the far site sends the optical signal to the device through the pigtail.
That's all, I welcome everyone to leave a message and exchange in the comment area!
Thank you!
