Dear friend!

Possible causes are as follows:

1. Logical or physical fiber connections are incorrect.

For details, see How to verify physical and logical fiber connections are correct.

2. The wavelength numbers at the source and sink ends of the OCh trail are inconsistent.

Modifying Port Parameters

3. The ports on the multiplexer/demultiplexer board and WS board are incorrectly connected, or the odd and even bands are incorrectly set.

Check fiber connections and parity band settings.

4. Wavelengths are missing on the network.

For example, a 40-wavelength system is used between sites A and B, and an 80-wavelength system is used between sites B and C. In this case, half of the wavelength signals between BC and BC cannot reach site A.

So, when the number of wavelengths is greater than 40 and the services traverse the odd-wavelength or even-wavelength board(such as 17WSM9 or 17WSMD4), the maximum wavelength number is inconsistent. The solution is to upgrade NCE.

Thanks!
