1. Customer wants to achieve historical performance monitoring on SNS2248. How can we achieve this?
The switch does not store historical performance monitoring information. If you need to view monitoring information, customer can use esight to monitor, this also need to install BNA (Brocade Network Advisor).
The keys support to monitor as follow:

2. Can we monitor the SNS2248 switches though NMS? If yes, please specify which NMS are supported.
The SNS switch supports SNMPV3, SNMPV1 protocol and NMS communication. You can use huawei esight to manage SNS Switch(also need install BNA).
3. Does SAN Switch supports Call to Home Feature?
No, there is currently no such feature
4.Maximum IOPs supported by Dorado 5000 V3?
IOPS depends on the configuration and the IO model.
The follow is maximum IOPS of Dorado5000V3:
Dorado5000(SAS) V300R003C21, two controller, 25 disks, IO model: 8K, read/write 7:3 maximum IOPS 110k@1ms.
Dorado5000 Enhanced Edition(SAS) V300R003C21, two controller, 25 disks, IO model: 8K, read/write 7:3 maximum IOPS 200k@1ms.
Dorado5000 (NVME) V300R003C21, two controller, 25 disks, IO model: 8K, read/write 7:3 maximum IOPS 220k@1ms.
5.Our Dorado 5000 V3 is hosting VMWARE 6.0 VMs. Customer wants to know Huawei recommendation regarding VMWARE Path policy.
we recommendate to use Round Robin policy.

6.Please explain the attached data reduction ratio of smart dedup & compression and its calculation process.
On the device manager can check the dedup & compression ratio

The calculation way can be seen by click the “?” on devicemanager:

- Data Reduction Ratio: Ratio of the total amount of data written to the storage pool to the used capacity (excluding metadata) of the storage pool.
- Deduplication Ratio: Ratio of the storage capacity occupied by data before deduplication to storage capacity occupied by data after deduplication.
- Compression Ratio: Ratio of the storage capacity occupied by data before compression to storage capacity occupied by data after compression.
For example, 100 GB data is written to the storage system. 50 GB is saved by deduplication and then 25 GB is saved by compression. Values of the above parameters are displayed: Data Reduction Ratio is 4:1, Deduplication Ratio is 2:1, and Compression Ratio is 2:1.
