The OceanStor 9000 delivers the UniformView feature to centrally monitor storage resources across regions.
As a client software of OceanStor 9000, UniformView consolidates OceanStor 9000 storage resources and provides a unified global view in cross-regional video surveillance scenarios.
Physical distribution of storage resources is masked. Upper-layer applications do not need to know physical distribution of underlying storage resources. After the OceanStor 9000 shared directory is mounted to UniformView using NFS, UniformView can read but cannot write all the files in the directory. The video surveillance management platform accesses the shared directories mounted in UniformView through a Portable Operating System Interface Standard (POSIX) interface .
