When the OceanStor 18500 storage (8 controllers) was first powered on, only the management network cable and internal communication cable were connected, and the toolkit was run to detect all SAS hard disks (600), and they passed normally.
At the request of the customer, after a week, I used the toolkit to perform the test, and it prompted that the member disk test could not be performed. Using the SSD hard disk detection command diskhimmer.bin -l in the minisystem system can only find 168 hard disks (the number of hard disks in system bay 0), and the other three cabinets cannot be seen. The toolkit prompts that member disk detection cannot be performed.
During the second test, the storage was connected to the fiber optic switch, the initiator was found on the storage, and a test disk domain was built on the storage.
I want to know why the hard drives of other cabinets cannot be detected.
