Not able to login after fusionsphere vrm installation

After fusionsphere vrm installed manually by using ISO. i am trying to login with fusion compute in browser  using admin & default password not working. login with root & default password not working.


Even changed gandalf user name & password from ssh connection command using passwd gandalf i tried login still not working.


i tried all default username & password still not working.


Kindly suggest what is the best way to login to fusion compute using user name & password.

Normally, the account and password are generic, if you have not changed them when you logged in. 

I think it's the port or firewall policy problem, please try to do as follows: 

  1. Log in to the active VRM node. 

  2. Check whether the vrmd and portal processes are normal. If the following information is displayed, the processes are normal. 

    service portal

  3. If the service is abnormal, locate the cause. After the process is recovered, log in to the portal again. 

  4. If you cannot log in to the portal, check whether ports 8080, 8443, 7443, and 7070 are normal, as shown in the following figure. 

    query port

  5. If the port is normal but the login still fails, check the firewall rules. The following figure shows that the firewall rules are normal.

 If it does not work, you are advised to reinstall the VRM.

Hi Stephen Thanks for your great support & follow up. Problem solved.

As I am using Fusionsphere 6.5.1 Default username / password list:
Browser:

username: admin \ password: IaaS@PORTAL-CLOUD8! Notes:- for browser login (I & S in capital letter)

SSH:

User name : Gandalf \ Password: IaaS@OS-CLOUD9! Notes:- (I & S in capital letter)
then su for root
root password: IaaS@OS-CLOUD8! Notes:- (I & S in capital letter)

Hello,

The provided login is incorrect for VRM 6.5.1 ISO install for the admin login.
How can the password be changed to an arbitrary value through the CLI (user gandalf and root access is working) ?

Yes, knowing how to reset the password throught the CLI would prove useful, but I found the root of the issue : the credentials are indeed : "admin" / "IaaS@PORTAL-CLOUD8!" but the field cannot be set by anything else than a human, so no security best practices such as password managers (keepass/BitWarden/lastPass) and not disabling the paste field are taken into account.
The login field must be entered manually by a human, adding a really small captcha, this is really a su

Hi Thanks for your support. I tried all ways still not working very simple message appearing during login username & password wrong. But when I login through direct console or ssh password is working. which is something different.

Even I tried above mentioned steps still same. I tried to login using admin/Huawei@CLOUD8!
