This post talks about the issue of no voice when making calls to the PSTN side. Please have a look below in order to find the solution for tackling it.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION
IP phone -> U1900 -> SBC -> PSTN.
When a customer is making a call from an IP phone to PSTN, there is no voice. However, the incoming calls are working fine.
ISSUE ANALYSIS
We checked the logs on U1900. U19 received other 180 messages after it received 183 messages, which caused the media port to change.
It needs to change the softargu 393 value to 1 to avoid this.

SOLUTION
Change the softargu 393 value to 1 (configure softargu type 393 value 1) - the issue of no voice when making calls to the PSTN side is solved.
