Problem Description
A voice+data conference is scheduled on the portal. After a user clicks the conference link and joins a conference on the data conference client, no voice is heard in the conference.
Operating system: Windows 7 SP1 (x86_64)eSpace version
eSpace Desktop: V200R003C00SPC400
Possible Causes
Currently, you can join a conference in the following modes:
Microphone: The voice is connected to the local PC and the voice is on the local PC.
Terminal Number: eSpace Desktop access voice (you must log in to the eSpace Desktop) and voice is stored on the eSpace Desktop.
Address book: Select a number in the address book to access the voice service. The voice service is played on the specified number.
New number: Select a number that is not in the address book to access the voice. The voice is played on the specified number.
My Incoming Call: Only data access is supported.
When a user joins a conference, the user selects Terminal Number to join the conference, but the eSpace Desktop is not online. As a result, the voice access fails.
Solution
1. Click the data conference link to access the data conference.
2. In the dialog box that is displayed, select Microphone as the voice access mode.
3. Click OK to connect the voice service. The fault is rectified.
