After you query and play a recording (including manual recording, scheduled recording, and alarm-triggered recording) on the Playback tab page, no video image is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

Possible Cause
The video encoding format is MJPEG.
Solution
- Log in to the IVS C/S client and choose .
The Local Domain tab page is displayed.
- In the device list, double-click the camera whose recordings cannot be played.
The Configuration window is displayed.
- Choose . Set Encoding Format to H.264.
NOTE:If Encoding Format is set to MJPEG and cannot be modified, double-click Videos in the Service Operation panel on the left of the Workspace tab page, click the Recording Policy tab on the tab page that is displayed, and set Stream for platform recording to a value other than MJPEG. - Check whether the fault is rectified.
