No output power from EMR4

We are trying to bring up a 10GB service for our customer, however, during troubleshooting, we noticed there is no power from the EMR4 board (Port: OUT), although we have given power via LDX board to the A1 port.

We also noticed there is high insertion loss (receiving direction) between IN port and the D1 port (around 8dB, measured by a power meter).

We have tried to replace the EMR4 board, however, the exact same thing occurred.

Dear friend!

You can perform the following operations:

1. Please check the LDX wavelength which connects to A1 is 194.1

2. Please check is there another OTU connect to MR4 A2-A4

3. Ensure that the input power of the EMR4 MI port is normal.

4. Check whether the optical fiber connected to the board is faulty. If yes, replace the optical fiber.
