Hi,

Can someone kindly inform me if there's a Huawei alternative for the Cisco configuration command "no logging event link-status"? Setting "undo enable snmp trap updown" still floods the switch's logging it self with link up/down messages. For customer facing interfaces I don't really care about those events but for north-bound interfaces I do want them so it can't be a global command.

Thanks in advance

Hi, Thanks you for your answer. As I stated that command still means that link interface up/down events are visible in the local log. So this command is only working for the SNMP traps, not the local logging, while I would also like the interface events to be not logged in the local log of the switch. Kind regards, Erik van der Burg
