Hello, dear!
It is nice to meet you in the community!
This topic is the solution to no access to U1960 after an energy outage.
Problem description
After an Energy Outage, the customer cannot access to the PBX by SSH, only by the console. But by console, the PBX only reboots all the time, in order to establish the communication with the PBX, commands etc. we load a file called Switch.dat, this file was shared by R&D. and needs to be modified based on the configuration of the PBX.
Error information
tftpSend:479:Transfer Timed Out
ERR (TFTP) tftpGet:1069: File Transfer Error.
This error appears because of the communications of the PBX fails so the PBX tries to reestablish the configuration but didn't work.
Handing process
In order to upload this file, we need to configure in the NIC of our computer the IP Address that appears in the error message, and with a TFTP software we need to enable our computer as a TFTP Server, (as a suggestion we used the 3CDaemon).
Root cause
The communication configuration of the file was damaged because of the energy outage
Solution
The switch.dat must be placed in the 3CDaemon FOLDER, and the equipment extracts the file from this folder When it reboots and at the end, when the file is already in the PBX the rebooting will stop and now we can connect by SSH and execute commands.
