New Switch dosen't boot

Hi,


I just bought a CloudEngine S6730-H48X6C switch .

I connect throw the console and I get this error:


Info: Checking signature, please wait
fail to open file=/flash/s6730-h-v200r019c00spc500.cc

Error: File-13 signature verification failed because the file does not found
Error: The file's signature is not correct, please check it.
[   28.940988] reboot: Restarting system


any solutions?

Hi,
From the logs, the software of the switch may damaged.

Please try to download the software and upload it though bootload menu.

Hi,

Thanks for the help but the console port is password protected.
I tried with the default password: "admin@huawei.com" but It didn't work.
Is there another default password?

This is the password that I need to enter the BootROOM Menu.

If no one previously entered BootRom and changed the password, that is the default password.
So far the three BootRom passwords that I know from Huawei are:
1 blank(no password)
2 huawei
3 admin@huawei.com

The default password login is Admin@huawei.com(Capital A)
If you forget the password after changing it and the device fails to start, the device has to be returned to the factory.

Hi friend


Make sure that you are well connected by console (9600, 8N1), restart the equipment, you should see in the console how the equipment tries to lift and you can look at the error that it gives you.


In case it does not lift, which is your case (it seems), when you reboot, check when it is lifting and type Ctrl + B (you have 3s to access) to enter BootRom when you get this:


Press Ctrl + B to break auto startup ... 3


Then a menu appears (it differs depending on the version of BootRom), you have to verify if it is loading the file that has to do with the VRP (Equipment Operating System). You see it in submenu:


Startup Select


If not, you have to check if the file (.cc) is found in Flash


File Manager


Re-index the VRP in the SubMenu. (Startup Select)

You restart the computer and it should lift.


In case of not knowing how to enter BootRom: Explicando el menu principal del BootROM - Comunidad Huawei Enterprise



NOTE: If not (do not lift), publish a photo of the LEDs and what comes out in the cosola, to be able to continue helping, depending on what comes out.

In case it is corrupt, you have to download the vrp again or obtain it from another computer that starts correctly.
I advise you to do it by console, this type of operations I like to do it this way, even though it is easier on the web.
Anyway, you choose which one to do it for.
