Handling Process
Open the IE browser, and choose Tools > Internet Options... > Connections > LAN Settings.... The Local Area Network(LAN) Settings dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box  Change the address of the remote PAC file to that with .pac in the Use automatic configuration script address bar, and the address with .pac can be accessed. For example, change the address of the remote PAC file to http://10.27.230.143:888/pac/1.pac. Choose OK > OK. Re-enable network extension. Root Cause The address of the remote PAC file is incorrectly specified on the client IE proxy. Solution Suggestions None. |
