Please find below how to reinstall the system through a remote KVM.
Procedure
Click the board whose operating system needs to be reinstalled and choose Shared Mode.
In the dialog box that is displayed, click Confirm. The KVM virtual control window is displayed.
Load the image file.
On the toolbar of the command window, click
.
The virtual DVD-ROM drive dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 6-65

Click the Image File option button, and then click Browse.
The Open dialog box is displayed.
Select the ISO file and click Open.
In the virtual DVD-ROM drive dialog box, click Connect.
When Connect changes to Disconnect (as shown in Figure 6-66), the virtual DVD-ROM drive is successfully connected to the server.Figure 6-66 Successful connection between the virtual DVD-ROM drive and the server

Install the system.
Click
to restart the VCM. The window for selecting an installation scenario is displayed, as shown in Figure 6-67.

Select IVS-AutoInstallation and press Enter.
Verify the installation.
Log in to the VCM server as the root user.
Run the cd /home/preinstall command.
Run the vi logs command and select install.log in the command output that is displayed.
Press Enter. Press Shift+G to move the cursor to the end. If the following information is displayed, the installation is successful.
IVS install finish
Type the :q! command to exit the interface.
Remove the DVD, restart the server, and log in to the system.
Log in to the OMU portal and change the IP address, time zone, and NTP configuration to the settings before the reinstallation.
Reinstall the patch packages that were installed before the reinstallation.
Troubleshooting
A system error is reported during installation using an image file.

Solution: The error does not affect system installation. You can click Continue to continue the installation.
