Adding an OLT to the U2000

Prerequisites

The SNMP parameters are configured on NEs and the U2000, also the configurations must be the same between them.

Navigation path to SNMP parameter configuration on the U2000: Choose Administration > NE Communicate Parameter > NE Access Protocol Parameters from the main menu.

Procedure

Right-click in the Main Topology and choose New > NE from the shortcut menu.
In the dialog box that is displayed, choose Access NE from the navigation tree and set the following parameters:

IP Address
Device Name (To obtain the device name, click an icon on the right. sysname is the device name. The IP address is used as the default device name if no names are entered.)
Device Alias (Optional, which is used to mark the installation site. Chinese characters are supported.)
Physical path (Optional)
Remarks (Optional. For example, if the branch name to which the device belongs is set, the number of devices of each branch will be counted.)
