Hi!

Before installing a vsup card I could see the source and destination of the nat table with the command displat nat session table, now I can only see the source and destination the text *: *

NAT

How can I know the destination of the nat table? Is it a bug on the vsup-100 card? How could netstream analyze data if the destination is not observed?

Hi friend!

1. The current display is normal.

2. This is caused by the 3-tuple. Therefore, the asterisk (*) is displayed. Destination IP address and port number of user traffic,·3-tuple·NAT·contains·neither·the·destination·IP·address·nor·the·destination·port,·and·therefore·this·item·displayed·as·*:*·for·3-tuple·NAT.

3. The source IP addresses used before the board is inserted are different after the board is inserted. Can you use the data before the board is inserted to test?

NetStream is a technology that collects packet statistics on a per-flow basis. It classifies data flows based on key fields of packets such as the destination IP address, destination port number, protocol number, and source IP address, collects statistics on the data flows, and sends the statistics to a server for analysis. By analyzing these statistics, a network administrator can determine the source, destination, and occupied egress bandwidth of traffic, providing a data basis for applications such as accounting, network management, and network optimization. You can refer to NetStream.

Glad to help!

hi!

Before having a VSUP card for NAT, the IPU towards the NAT times and with the command display nat session table it showed the source and destination, it does not make sense to request a destination that I do not know

no, I can't test because there are 17000 active clients on that NAT. What I can say is the NAT done by the IPU showed the source and the destination, now with the VSUP card it does not show it.

here is an evidence of the display nat session table command before installing the VSUP card

NAT desde la IPU
