You need to check system time to ensure that the NE40E works with other devices coordinately.
Prerequisites
Logging In to the NE40E is complete.
Procedure
Run the display clock command to view system time.
<HUAWEI> display clock
2010-07-20 02:04+08:00
Tuesday
Time Zone(BJ) : UTC+08:00
If the system time and time zone displayed in boldface in the displayed information are consistent with the local time and time zone, go on with the subsequent commissioning.
Troubleshooting
If the system time and time zone displayed in the display clock command output are inconsistent with the local time and time zone, follow the procedure below to reconfigure the system time:
Run the clock datetime HH:MM:SS YYYY-MM-DD command in the user view to set the current date and Universal Time Coordinated (UTC).
Run the clock timezone time-zone-name { add | minus } offset command in the system view or user view to set the local time zone based on an offset. (The NE40E obtains the current system time by subtracting an offset from or adding an offset to the UTC.)
(Optional) Run the clock daylight-saving-time time-zone-name repeating start-time { { first | second | third | fourth | last } weekday month | start-date } end-time { { first | second | third | fourth | last } weekday month | end-date } offset [ start-year [ end-year ] ] command in the system view to set the daylight saving time.
