HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi All.

We want to test 100G throughput test using external test gear. We have 2 NE40 router connected via DWDM backbone link, and uses 100G QSFP28 interface at both end router. We have exfo test gear at Site A , and connected to 100G client interface of Router A , and initiate the test. How to do remote soft loopback on router B client interface to relfect all test traffic from exfo back to Router A?

exfo > 100G(Client interface)Router A(100G Line Interface)<DWDM Link>  100G(Line interface)Router B(100G Client Interface,  Softlooback)

The reason we want to softloop at Router B is because we cant send over test gear to Site B as is it in different country. Due to COVID19 we cant travel.

I know NE40 can do NQA RFC2544 test, but our client only accept external test gear results.

Hi nagis27,

You can use the loopback remote command to enable external loopback test on an Ethernet interface.

External loopback test: In this test, the remote end sends a packet to the local end. After receiving the packet, the local end sends the packet to the remote end directly at the interface. Checks whether the link between the peer device and the local device is faulty.
