HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi,

When Radius server assign to user 5 mbps upload, user speed test output is 8-10 mbps upload. If Radius assign to user 2 mbps upload , user speed test output 5-7 mbps. Why doesn't the router implement qos or why is there so many deviations? All users have the same problem.

ACL&QoS:

  Inbound qos configuration     : User-CAR

  Inbound cir                   : 5250(kbps)(Radius)

  Inbound pir                   : 5250(kbps)(Radius)

  Inbound cbs                   : 981750(bytes)

  Inbound pbs                   : 981750(bytes)

  Outbound qos configuration    : User-queue

  Outbound cir                  : 105000(kbps)(Radius)

  Outbound pir                  : 105000(kbps)(Radius)

Link bandwidth auto adapt     : Disable

  UpPriority                    : Unchangeable

  DownPriority                  : Unchangeable

Hi, KorayK!

The NE40E supports QoS rate limiting. You can refer to the following configuration method.

Example for Configuring Traffic Policing

For your question, I think you should first check the RADIUS server because the device on which rate limiting is configured is not on the NE40E. Therefore, you should start to check the RADIUS server.

Yes, the radius server sends the rate limit. But even though it sends by radius, the speed is 5250 inbound pir&cir on the router, I don't understand why the router doesn't apply it. Since I see this data in the router output, I don't think there is a problem in Radius.

To configure rate limiting on a router, you need to configure QoS rate limiting on the router so that the router can apply rate limiting. Otherwise, the router cannot perform rate limiting.

To configure rate limiting on a router, you need to configure QoS rate limiting on the router so that the router can apply rate limiting. Otherwise, the router cannot perform rate limiting.
Executing the following command solved the problem.

[~Device] l2tp-group xx
[*Device-l2tp-xxx] qos scheduling-mode session

This command is used for L2TP VPN scheduling. By default, tunnel scheduling is used. The limits the rate of the entire tunnel based on the user account. As a result, when multiple users share the same tunnel, the rate is also shared. As a result, the rate limiting problem occurs. Therefore, you have modified the scheduling mode to solve the problem.
