HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

which max throughput on ne40 with cgnat license enabled, using ne40 exclusively for cgnat, nat444?  Scenario with 254 public ips for 8 thousand private ips, I can reach 40gbps of trougput ? please the question is clear, hardware capacity and no discussion of scenario, there will be no competing services.

Only the NE40E-X series supports the addition of VSUF-80 card to process CGNAT (NAT444).
The NE40E-M2 series has an option to buy a license to do this function based on software. But is extremely limited and how @vagkaefer wrote before, is not recommended to this function.

Hi User,

The NetEngine40E supports a variety of IPv6 features including IPv6 leased line, dual stack, tunneling, and translation. The NetEngine40E supports Next-Hop Separation to optimize the IPv6 convergence time and supports larger IPv6 FIB and CGN cards of 160-gigabit throughput to improve the scalability. These help to provide comprehensive solutions for high performance during the transition from IPv6 to IPv4 and allow each provider to determine their transition strategy most suitable for their own network.
hope the answer satisfies you.

Controllable feature:

The VSUF-80/VSUF-160/VSUI-160-E supports capacity expansion.

A VSUF-80 mother board supports a default capacity of 20 Gbit/s and can be increased to 40 Gbit/s. To expand the capacity, equip a VSUF-80 mother board with a 20 Gbit/s license.

A VSUF-160 mother board supports a default capacity of 40 Gbit/s and can be increased to 80 Gbit/s. To expand the capacity, equip a VSUF-160 mother board with a maximum of two 20 Gbit/s licenses.

A VSUF-160-E mother board supports a default capacity of 80 Gbit/s and can be increased to 160 Gbit/s. To expand the capacity, equip a VSUF-160-E mother board with a maximum of four 20 Gbit/s licenses.

Note:

To use an 80 Gbit/s VSUF-80, equip a VSUF-80 mother board with a 20 Gbit/s license and an SP-80 subcard.

To use a 160 Gbit/s VSUF-160, equip a VSUF-160 mother board with two 20 Gbit/s licenses and two SP-160 subcards.

To use a 160 Gbit/s VSUF-160-E, equip a VSUF-160-E mother board with two 20 Gbit/s licenses and two SP-160 subcards with two 20 Gbit/s licenses.

After loading this license for a VSUF-80/VSUF-160, run the active nat bandwidth-enhance slot slot-id engine engine-id command in the license view for the new capacity to take effect.

After loading this license for a VSUI-160-E, run the active nat bandwidth-enhance slot slot-id { engine engine-id | card card-id } command in the license view for the new capacity to take effect.

Using 1400 bytes packets you will have only 13.4G with CGNAT in the M2K-B

The CGNAT capacity is not the same as the equipment's forwarding capacity. Typically, CGNAT devices are at the core of the network and not at the edge. M2K-B is used in metro or edge networks. To use CGNAT, Huawei has the NE40E-X8A with a board made especially to support CGNAT.
