I am installing Ne09S6 old chipset version.
We have 2 router. We wanna do Redundancy between 2 routers. In the VRRP 1 packet drop switchover active to backup. We are also using BFD. But we can not see 50msec value in the switchover.
Hi, A VRRP backup group implements a master/backup VRRP switchover quickly by tracking the BFD session status. Theoretically, the switchover time is within 50 milliseconds. To implement a fast switchover, you need to set a short BFD detection period. Detection period = Received Detect Mult of the remote system x Max (Local RMRI, Received DMTI) I don't find the documentation of NE09. For NE40, the Local RMRI or Received DMTI can be set to a minimum of 3ms. https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100109721&id=EN-US_CLIREF_0172376823&lang=en And the Detect Mult can be set to 3.
